I understand this is VERY different for a Zelda game, but it being a spin off is more reasonable to apply this, remember Wind Waker and the harsh reception it got for being cartoony? I just bought this game and I have a lot of fun working with strangers over the internet to solve puzzles. People want innovation from NIntendo and I think this Co op focus is the right direction, hell I would even play Federation Force! The single player is very fun actually. I’ve been playing for a few hours of both single and online. And the online has been a little confusing for some as far as how to form a team to play. I’ve tested it different ways. You could play with 2 random people, or you can have a friend join your team and then pull in a random person to fill the team. My experience so far is that people are generally fun to play with even if you don’t know them, and were managing to make me laugh quite a bit with well times emotes and whatnot. I really don’t agree with making multiplayer focused games on handhelds. Handheld gaming is a personal, intimate experience that also should be designed with bite sized sessions in mind. Lots of people play handhelds on their way to work on the bus and stuff, you cant really do that if you have to play the game with other people, as that usually requires some sort of scheduling that I don’t think works for a handheld system.
